
つゆひかりのプロモーションイベントで伺いました。時は奇しくも八十八夜。製茶工場にとっては将にかきいれ時。忙しいにも関わらず、丁寧に御対応くださいました。まずは、新茶の時期だけという水淹れの生茶。火入れ前の生茶は野菜の風味と甘さが引き立つ新鮮な味わい。この時期に製茶工場に来ないと味わえない貴重な体験でした。お茶菓子も米粉を持参してお菓子屋さんに作って貰ったというこだわりの一品。広大なお茶畑を眼前にいただくお茶はまた格別でした。I have visit this cafe by utilizing the event of TSUYUHIKARI which is new brand of Japanese green tea. Actually, this might not be called cafe cause they only have wagon to serve tea and bench facing toward green tea field outside of green tea producing factory. If was also just in the middle of harvest of green tea leaf then it was the busiest time of the year for them, but they showed us warmest hospitality. They serve fresh green tea by using fresh tea leaves before any heating process. It tastes like fresh sweet vegetable and it is only available at this harvesting time in green tea factory. I was lucky to experience this fresh green tea. They may not be able to accommodate many people but it might be outstanding experience to green tea lovers. #八十八夜に生茶をいただきました!
